Consumer Health Data Notice

The short version: Nonchalant is a texting coach, not a health product. We do not seek, collect, classify, infer, share, or sell anyone's health data — including "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act. This page exists so Washington residents (and everyone else) can see that posture stated plainly.

1. What Nonchalant does

You upload a screenshot (or paste text) of one of your own conversations, and Nonchalant suggests replies. Processing is one-shot: the conversation is analyzed to generate your suggestions and the uploaded content is deleted on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy (§3). We keep no advertising profiles and we do not sell or share personal data in the advertising sense.

2. Our position on consumer health data

We do not collect consumer health data, and we do not want it.
Nonchalant contains no health classification of any kind: nothing in the product seeks, tags, labels, or infers anyone's physical or mental health status, diagnoses, treatments, or bodily functions.
We collect no biometric identifiers: no facial recognition, no face geometry, no faceprints — from your images or anyone else's. Screenshots are read for their text and conversation content only, then deleted.
We do no geofencing of any kind, health-related or otherwise.

3. If health information appears inside a conversation you upload

A private conversation can mention anything — including something health-related. If that happens, that text is processed transiently, as ordinary conversation text, solely to generate your reply suggestions. It is never tagged or used to identify or infer health status, never shared or sold, never used for advertising, and it is deleted on the schedule in Privacy Policy §3. We do not build any record of it.

4. Your rights and choices

Uploading a conversation is always your explicit, per-upload choice. You can stop at any time by simply not uploading. You can delete your stored data as described in Privacy Policy §8, and you can reach us about privacy — including any question under Washington's My Health My Data Act — at privacy@staynonchalant.com. We answer within the timelines in the Privacy Policy.

5. Why this page exists

Washington's My Health My Data Act requires businesses that collect consumer health data to publish a Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Nonchalant does not collect consumer health data, so most of the Act's mechanics do not apply to us — but because our users upload free-form conversations, we publish this notice anyway so our position is explicit rather than implied. The authoritative description of everything we collect and why is the Privacy Policy; this page mirrors its §5 and never overrides it.
